TVXQ successfully ended its Japanese tour TVXQ Live Tour 2014 ~Tree~ by setting another record.
Starting with a concert in Yokohama on April 22, TVXQ performed 29 concerts in 10 cities, including Tokyo, Osaka, Nagoya, Miyagi, Sapporo, Fukui, Niigata, Fukuoka, and Hiroshima, gathering a total of 600,000 fans
Having gathered 550,000 during its first Japanese tour TVXQ Live 2012 ~Tone~ in 2012 and 850,000 during TVXQ Live Tour 2013 ~Time~ in 2013, TVXQ set the record of gathering 2 million fans with its Japanese solo tour within three years.
This is the first time that a foreign artist gathered that number of fans within the shortest amount of time, proving TVXQ’s current status and influence in Japan.
TVXQ Sets Another Record in Japan by Wrapping up Japanese Tour
The concert in Osaka, which was the finale of the tour, took place over four days on June 18-19 and 21-22 in Kyosera dome.
TVXQ was also the first foreign artist to launch solo concert in Tokyo dome and Kyosera dome for three years in a row, continuing to rewrite history in Japan.
During Osaka concert, TVXQ presented a total of 26 songs for the duration of 3 hours and 30 minutes, including all tracks in the album Tree as well as hit songs Why, Ocean, Somebody to Love and more.
Meanwhile, having completed its Japanese tour, TVXQ will attend a-nation stadium fes. taking place on August 30 in Tokyo’s Ajinomoto Stadium.
